Judith "Ann" Bell

Judith “Ann” Bell. Ann was born July 31, 1944 in Taft, CA to Rex and Estes Rector. Ann graduated from Taft Union High School in 1963, Ann entered eternal life on March 23, 2024. Ann married the love of her life, Wayne Bell, in 1978. They moved from Derby Acres to Maricopa in 1990, where they made their forever home. Ann loved John Wayne. You knew that when you walked into her home. She had memorabilia everywhere. She would watch his movies over and over. She also loved watching Perry Mason, Dancing with the stars, Dodgers baseball, and girls softball. She enjoyed playing games, playing Bingo and going to the casinos. She loved her dogs, Duke and Baby. They were her spoiled “babies”.  Her pride and joy were her children, Kyle and Shirley, her grandchildren Jared and Peyton Solf, Taylor and Shanlee, and her great grandchildren Cooper and Ozzie Solf. 

Ann is survived by her son, Kyle Bell (wife Angela), Shirley Solf (husband Jeremy), brother Richard Rector (wife Christine), and sister Kathy Edmaiston. Also, her grandchildren Jared Solf (wife Brianna), Peyton Solf, Taylor and Shanlee Walstad, her great grandsons Cooper and Ozzie Solf. And her chihuahua Baby. Many nieces, nephew, cousins, sisters in-law, brothers in-law, great nieces and nephews. 

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Rex and Estes Rector, her husband, Wayne Bell, and her dogs Duke and Jake. 

A special thanks to Patrick Walker for all the years of driving her everywhere and helping Ann in any way he could. Also, to Michelle Caples for caring for Ann and loving her. And to her brother Richard, and Hailey for being there with her in her final days.

Also all the nurses and staff at Hoffman Hospice.

Sherry Sinden will officiate at the graveside services on April 10, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the West Side District Cemetery.
