Dusty Wise

Dusty Wise, 67 of Taft California, passed away on February 28, 2024. He was born on December 23, 1956, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Dusty was the beloved husband for 43 years of Tricia Wise, proud father of Daniel and Alyssa Wise, and proud grandfather of Elliott Easterwood. He is also survived by his Aunt Jean, sisters Sandra, Joyce, Virginia, and brother-in-law JR.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Ernest, daughter Candice, brother Donald, and sister Pauletta.

In 1988, Dusty started his own pool service business, where he dedicated himself to serving his customers. He had a vision for his business to continue with his son, Daniel at the helm. As so it shall be.

Dusty graduated from Taft Union High School  and worshipped God at 1st Baptist Church.

Beyond his work, Dusty found joy in restoring his 1956 Ford in his garage and had a passion for hot rods. He loved his friends, cherished his family, and made new friends with everyone he met.

A service to honor Dusty's life will be held on March 14, 2024, at 1st Baptist Church in Taft, California. Erickson and Brown Funeral Home in Taft, California, are assisting with the arrangements.

There are some people who bring a light so bright into the world, that even after they are gone, the light remains.

Dusty, you will always be loved and missed.
